Untamed hair and shaggy beard,
it's like the sixties came back and bit you
which is fine if you're looking for a quick fix
or a few trips
but this is the twenty-first and we're coming in
third.

The dark ages seemed much lighter.

Cut and run?
well, I would do,
but
that'd be really dumb,
it's not safe anymore

so
I'll stay locked in behind this door
and pretend my name is
Jedediah Smith.
