Stagecoaches that ruled the land
It started in the West and moved like a caravan
But this was a test
Think John Wayne and Indian’s that would say it best
But it was those wheels that maneuvered in history and movie reels
Stagecoaches became the transportation start
Towns and towns out were just a part
Later came upgraded travelling rides
Moving into tomorrow in what wheels continue to provide
Cars being a long awaited dream
But the wheels I am referring to are buses
They roll and wheel going beyond
It’s destination to destination we look upon
It was the advancement of the stretched out dog
Than the dog was added to the Greyhound bus cutting through any fog
The name being Greyhound
It wasn’t just any wheeling name
Today the company still remains
Stagecoaches opened all bus lanes
Again, Greyhound and many others remain
Towns and Cities being Greyhound stops
All you have to do is step on board with one hop
Mountain high views
No need to worry of Indians attacking coming through
I almost hear banjo’s playing within the countryside
It’s route after route in what the highways provide
Oh look at the Rocky Mountains standing tall and wide
Even at the top, the clouds hide
The thought of traveling west
North, South and East are all best
But there is something about the West with the Mountains that say it best
Wouldn’t you know, all this having a flow
So Greyhound is still travelling wide with the added comfort in provide
Now you know and Stagecoaches started the show
Greyhound says ride and let’s go
Stagecoaches put Greyhound on the map
So sit back and relax and reflect on your nap.
