Blackberries
I will post you my name.
I’ve been meaning to.
That way I can stain you
like blackberries would,
a fresh, juicy punnet of them
bought that very day,
your lips stippled violet
and the single syllable you read
the dizzy sprint of sugar.
Written: April 2020.
Explanation: A poem written in my own time. Feedback welcome. A link to my Facebook writing page can be found on my HP home page.
