No one should think
That it’s okay
For that many people
To pass away
No one should think
That it’s alright
For us to find ourselves
In this plight

No one should just
Simply dismiss
That we are nearing
A great abyss
No one should doubt
For even one second
What this is about
In case your checking

No one should try
To second guess
What we’re being told
But nevertheless
I should go on
Before I digress
To just be alive
Is to be blessed

No one should ignore
The situation that we're in
Because it’s a game
In which we all have skin
And so I must also state
Before it’s much too late
We need to mitigate
There's no time to wait
