When I glance up as I stroll along what do I see?
Why it’s birds and squirrels and leaves dancing in the trees
They worry not about what goes on in their midst
And carry on with their glorious tryst
As I look down at the dewy blades of grass beneath my feet
I spy a train of ants moving along to their own beat
I see a glistening, gooey, shimmering trail
That I soon discover belongs to a lone snail
The wind picks up and gives a whip to my hair
And just as quickly as it arrived suddenly is no longer there
A ray of golden sun finds my face
And I smile to myself thinking, what a wonderful place
To what place am I referring you might ask?
Why of course it’s none other than this awe-inspiring planet on which we bask
Amazing, beautiful, one-of-a-kind
No other quite like it will we ever find
A gift from the Universe that I adore
And always will, forever more
