Blue Jay

His feathers untouched like sleek skin His wings just found the color blue Any damn worth a while is forgiven When Jay bird sings I hear the truth On a branch outside my window Perched on stem as if by glue He doesn't waiver in the silence While he sings to me the blues Jay birds silhouette on the grey clouds Is a hole through to the bright sky The rhythm I hear is perfect Almost as if he doesn't even try Jay bird please stay Though i know you must fly Stay and sing me the blues As only a blue Jay could
