I watch as fear takes hold on your face
The realization of what is to come
Something dark and twisted
Straight out of a science fiction novel
That something might be as bad
As it was on the news
Nothing so horrible
Worse than the words spilling from your lips

The emotion of the past
Starts to build up in your eyes
As I wonder how I am here
Writing about the fear that you feel
Looking into the distance
Knowing everything will be alright
As ash starts to fall from the sky
Another sign that problems will arise
Nothing has ever seemed so real
It was all just a twisted realty
