God sends His wind
And rain
Although it causes pain
Let me try to explain
It isn’t done in vain
If we want Him to hear
The depth of our despair
Let’s acknowledge that He’s there

We need to change our evil ways
Especially these days
Because submission pays
Or else Chastisement stays
It was he who sent the locus
To **** the crops and choke us
We need to change our focus
And this isn’t hocus pocus

Am I committing libel?
You need to read your Bible
Things are getting very tribal
Cause our shared pain is primal
But if I may be so bold
His is the rope to hold
See God is in control
And this has been foretold

Believe it or not
Nothing that we’ve gpt
Occurs without His permission
Despite hoping and wishing
That things were not that way
Have patience it won’t stay
Though God will have His Say
In time we’ll be okay
