Never sweeter a sound was heard
Then the giggle of a child
I held you in my strong arms
Your eyes told me you were wild

My whelp through and through
I knew you by your face
And in your merry wickedness
Lacking embarrassment and grace

You madly pinched my finger
And squeezed it for a while
Then you giggled, then you burped
And at long last
I saw your smile
I have lived a very full life immersed in international travel, art, and outdoor activities.  And still, the most beautiful thing I have ever done was give life to and raise my daughter.  She's always going to be the light of my life.
