Believe in Miracles
Stain glass made in all color
captured my daughter's
life force making her
come back to life.
Sometimes shock can make a
difference in behavioral
disordered afflictions by
just beauty shocking them
to surrender to self's
admiration.
Like a statue, she stood
made out of flesh and blood
exploring a life she no longer
lived.
Eyes of blue bright alert
but not a move does she
make.
Out of the county I
went to collect my thoughts
of her condition that kept
getting worse.
Like marble she becomes
attached to life support
no reason for her body
to shrink and die.
Walking down a cobble
the stone path I saw a stain
glass angel with her hands
raising up toward the sky
how lovely she was, all colors
in the world.
Lost my breath a moment when
I saw her beauty, so lifelike
made of stain glass.
I had to buy this angel I swear
was from heaven made for
me to buy, for my daughter
who was fading daily?
I brought her home and when
my daughter saw the angel
she took a deep sigh and
tears started running down
her cheeks.
Her hands covered her face
for a moment and she softly
spoke, βYou found herβ!
I never found out what she meant
by those words she spoke, I
only know she was alive, living
a normal life.
She still has that angel beyond
heaven's gate, I believe.
