I'm conducting a social experiment
Stepping out to socialize
See if I can turn some heads with it
Watch as I roll some eyes

I'm going to be quite friendly
Say hello to everyone
With a nod and a wink I will indeed
Have myself some fun

I'll share all of my findings
With the world out there at large
Who too often needs reminding
That yes, it still has a heart

I'll speak out loud of promise
Not just of promises
To be brutally honest
Doesn't the world need more of this

I'll step out and learn to live
In the time that is
Not stuck in the past
Or on a future wish

I'll take it all in and be a steady wind
Not just a hit or a miss
When it comes to doing that
Or implementing this

With all that's found I'll draw a crowd
And teach them to do the same
With this social experiment
There's no telling what will change
