If you question it?
Then you not into it.
Instead of being afraid.
Be proud.
Be ecstatic.
Embrace your blackness.
Even the light skin race seek shade.

Drifting off to suntan parlor to get a little color.

Sure some hate us.
But notice those that love to be like us.
We know they steal our style.
Just can't give credit.

They want the hips, the lips, and the attitude.
Embrace your blackness.
It's a wonderful hue.

They cop our music.
They try to fit in.
They even love to mention that one loyal black friend.

But we that one shining star.
We radiate.
We protest for our rights.
And of all the races we know how to fight.

We roar.
So embrace your blackness.
