Forgive them, for they do not know that what they say & do
Can cut through
Every little paper fibre of your tiny little wings
I apologize for the things,
The things they are doing to you
Even though you never thought that through,
You continued to fly,
Until they drained you dry,
Drained you dry of your blue covered wings,
So blue,
Forgive them for what they do,
As your paper fibres are tainted black
I'll do all I can for you
Nothing else is quite as true
*But I'll do all I can for you.
