I build myself a castle, a paradise -home of my dreams.
But brick by brick I had to tear it down to shelter everyone within.
They slept on my bed, they feast on my meal, they shattered my mirror -
My hopes and my dreams.
So I left them my bag,
My castle they could keep.
Carried my words in my pocket,
And left with my bare feet.
