RUSTY SKIN ALL OVER YOUR BODY
AFTER YEARS AND YEARS OF LIVING HARDLY
IN YOUR EYES, A LIGHT SHINE DIMLY
SOAKING IN SWEAT
SOON YOU’LL FACE THE DEATH
AFTER A BATED BREATH

AN ASTONISHING PAST
UNDER THE SCORCHING SUN YOU CRY
LONELY, REALIZE THAT YOU WERE THE LAST
IN YOUR HEART YOU PREPARE TO DIE
AND WAITING TO BE CALLED INTO THE ETERNAL LIFE

SITTING UNDER THE OAK
ADMIRING THE TALE YOU BROUGHT
LONG TIME AGO
SOME HEART YOU BROKE
AND SOME YOU SOUGHT
BY ANOTHER TIME YOU SEE ME
IF I’D PREFAIL, YOU’LL SEE
LIPS ARE NUMB, NO LONGER YOU TELL YOUR STORY
AFTER A WHILE, YOU SHUT YOUR EYES

YOU ALWAYS SAID YOUR NO ONE
BUT YOU DON’T REALIZE THAT YOU’RE SOMEONE
TO BECOME THE ONE
FOR ANYONE
YOU HAVE WON
