May 2013
On a suburban city path
drenched in sunlight
where Dionysian leaves float,
This late-summer's
evening breeze
zephyrs purple  smoke;
Sweet vapors glaze over
Medina's ghost.

Azure haze of summer vibrancy.

Don't search for yourself
too deeply,
You might get lost.

"I’ve been sipping on the sand darling"

That perfect moment we look for
often hides in hindsight, sometimes
we're fortunate enough to find it
in the present - to find ourselves
in its presence - and that is a gift
like no other. The entitlement to search
is a right granted of birth,
And the soul does roam;
