If it Keeps on Raining

rain rain go away
I beg of you hear what I say
I never wanted a broken heart

why did she have to go
how was I supposed to know
I was just a character playing a part

I never read the script
I was a fool and blindly tripped
she took lying to a whole new art

the levee is going to break
if I cannot find a way to shake
these darkened clouds of sorrow

these tear drops staining
and if it just keeps on raining
the levee won't last until tomorrow

Gomer LePoet....
mostly cloudy with a good chance of rain
