I remember my coloring books
and trying to stay in the lines

But now I draw my own pictures and
lines are at the back of my mind

I remember my favorite number
was what ever number was the biggest

And now my favorite number is
5 and 23

I remember my favorite color was
red

Now I don't have a favorite color
because I don't know them all

I remember crying
because I fell off my bike

Well, now I cry
because of the terrible things that go on in the world

Those memories seem to fade
with each year that goes by

Their like a picture in a picture frame
that is starting to wash away.
