Scars

Fading away constantly

these arms tell stories of a happier time

when emotion was released

instead of eating away from inside

Closer to death than all others

I realize how beautiful life truly is

how lucky we are to be chosen

to find someone to share our love

Having to hide away

memories on my arms scream

telling me to break

to show that pain can help cope

with a heart not completed
