It would be a comfort
To find in you a flaw
So that I could be sure
I’ve broken no earth’s law
In landing such a man
Too eloquent for straw
But until then I behold you
In pure, magnificent awe

I am not wholly certain
That what I feel is shared
And I lost the courage quickly
To ask you if you cared
For me in such a way
No man in many moons dared
I wish there was subtle way
My heartbreak could be spared

I dream we share a night
Dancing and laughing with friends
Like that of a storybook summer
We will pray never ends
If you don’t return the feeling
I’m sure we will make amends
But I’m not sure ill ever quite
Forgive myself for the rends

I’m ready to hear from you
Forget the tricks, forget the games
Hold nothing back from me
Do what you feel, ill take the blame
Go with me headfirst
Lay aside all your shame
Tell me who you love and
in same, tell me my name
