Death a Rebirth
With each sunrise and each nights fall
We are born and die again
As with another Dawn to be
Risen, we new women and men
Each night when we fall into dreams
It is a form of death we find
Ourselves are off to other realms
Whisking through the Dreamer's Mind
Then with each new Dawn we wake
Back into this reality
Wishing we'd slept just one more hour
To fly among the Eagle's fields
I'm not afraid to fall asleep at night
So why do I fear the day
When it is my soul decides
It's time for me to go away
A life lived in constant fear
Of what kind of death we'll meet
Is no Life at all, no cheer
Why bother waking up from the
Dreams we trust will return us
Back to our world of light and dust
Why do we not understand
Each death is a rebirth for us
As we know we'll wake from the
Nightmares that make us writhe at night
Why don't we trust to be gently
Placed in a new Dawn of Light
How many times are we all told
When it is death will find us
Our Spirits will have already soared
Reborn in Surrender and Trust
