Practice what you preach
and never retain a speech
for my love for you is eternal
twisted and sempiternal.

Forgive me my wrong
and understand love will prolong
the way I'll forgive you
and fix it to be new.

But without you, my dear
the message becomes clear
the only thing I fear
as I walk this very pier,

I won't forget about what we were
even though it sometimes is a blur
I love you for being you
your hair, eyes, mouth, all too.
