i looked into a candle with its dancing flame
i was drawn inside it seem to call  my name
reflecting in the night  flickering away
my mind went in a trance my thoughts began to stray.

i thought i saw  an angel in a gown of white
  with a great big halo shining very bright
playing on a harp to a lovely melody
with her big white wings as she sang to me.

it was very peaceful as tranquil as can be
brought peace to my soul set my spirit free
it was just like heaven with an angel next to me
in the flames of the candle all this i could see


then the flame it faded and began to die
the angel  she took flight and began to fly
gave a gentle wave as she said goodbye
to her home in heaven high up in the sky.
