Mother,
This unruffled wind
Stirred by a part of you
Wants to be held
Closer to mine
Back then in time
You’d hover through the wild
Just to see me smile
My mother, full of stories
Turned my childhood into precious memories.

Mother,
I was looking back, gazing these flowers outside my window
Recollecting, how you let me be who I wanted to be
You let me in your arms
And let me grow
I love you more
Then you could ever possibly know
My mother, my spring of joy
Even when my wings seem broken
She can make me fly.

Mother,
I hope to be like you
Unfolding these petals
Petals of kindness, unconditionally
From crimson dusk
To crimson dawn
Soft and vibrant
Honey and honest
My mother, gentle gardener
The loveliest flower of all.
