The 2:20 pm train from
Cork to Dublin was on
the platform but no sign
of it leaving.

A large crowd waited,
being Friday afternoon,
week enders were off
to the capital.

20 minutes past departure,
a lady who had just arrived
from Cobh asked me what
was the crowd all about.

I could not resist telling
her that the blessed ******
had just appeared opposite,
"Really" and she walked on.
