Jan 2020
water trickles down my spine,
impossible fingers pressing into my skin.
i choke out sighs of defeat,
as the sharp drops of water
pierce into me like tiny daggers—
knowing every little thing,
and using the knowledge to peel me apart.
the sky falls
and joins the shower drain
forever an aching reminder:
i will never be clean.
i’m so sorry i haven’t been posting, school is making a machine of me. thank u for ur patience, i have a notebook full of work waiting to be posted. bless
