Here we go, again

The crystal ball shines and the bass sounds hard

We dance and drink to the celebration

Blasting into the new year’s Front Yard

Entering a newer time

Father Time starts his sandy measurement

Of the moments which remain , for you

Use them , wisely, or you shall lose the grains

That fell to the bottom of his hourglass

A moment lost in which to remain

Active and meaningful

You counted on picking up your Trials

Never asking the Sandy Judge

Your fear to approach and challenge his moments

in which he gave

Fell from you in despair

For time’s grains of sand are have in the Hourglass

In such, their power holds a grudge.

To waste is Senseless

A golden opportunity to make use of each grain

in which to measure each grain up until that last moment

As the hourglass is filled, full the other way…

You fade to your newer life

Celebrating another well measured Gain.
