The sound of war drums
Aren’t that far,
Could we be headed
For a coup d’etat?
Some say yeah,
Others say nah!
But they blew the man up
Riding in his car

Did he deserve that?
I don’t know
Was there an urgent reason
Why he had to go?
Careful of the bitter
Seeds that you sow
It doesn’t take much
For the Middle East to blow

He may have been somebody
For us to despise,
But was taking him out
Really wise?
He was revered,
In his people’s eyes
See they felt a sense of
Familial ties

Clearly there’s a madman
In the White House
Who has teased dyed hair
And a steely eyed spouse
Who doesn’t seem bothered
That her husband’s a louse
Which should give us all reason
Enough to grouse
