Atlantic Sea
treads upon my eyes
kept level to the horizon

I gaze across as
the plane
flies high
transcending
space, and time
as am I

the azure sea keeps
us apart, for when
the clock ticks
here in dusk
over yonder,
it is a sunshine
brimming day

Daydreams of pale
hands intertwined
underneath the moonlit
abyss

In a transient moment,
we loved
one another

in a transient town,
we guided one another
towards a better
tomorrow

all there is is now,
so I keep my eyes
level to the horizon
and breathe in the now
