Shaking in Charlotte
Deeper than the Terror
More persistent than the pain
The solitude of snowfall
The laughter of the rain
Stardust children giggled
Before they spoke a word
Primal human joy
In a universe Absurd
So fear ye not, my brothers
And sisters sympathize
Our destiny is hidden
Even from the wise
The journey is unknowing
Falling, breaking free
Then let us quest like sailors
Upon a cosmic sea
Perhaps we’ll meet mind monsters
Perhaps a Sacred Queen
Or maybe none of the above
And all that’s in between
I yearn to die a lover
And live unto the end
My heart aflame with Traveller’s Tales
And Aliens my friends!
I remembered a missing stanza, so I am reposting this one today
