I find it hard to relate
To random acts of hate
What enters the mind?
Why do people cross that line?
It remains a mystery
But throughout human history
Time has been the mirror
But it doesn’t make it clearer

What evil lurks within,
The hearts and minds of men?
That make ‘em perpetuate
Blatant acts of hate
Is difference the excuse
For us to heap abuse
Upon fellow **** sapiens
Think of the message that it sends

Why are we so cruel?
Have we replaced the Golden Rule?
Doesn’t it apply,
To human beings like you and I?
And what none of us can ignore
Is that it’s worth fighting for
To an overwhelming degree
We need reciprocity

The madness has to cease
We must control the  beast
That is contained within
Women as well as men
The answer is love and peace
To say the very least
Which isn’t hard to find
Once we cleanse our mind
