Dec 2019
today. Let my hair get soaked
till it drips in ribbons down
my coat. And when I shimmy, I’ll
sprinkle rainbow jimmies.

No shoes
today. Let my feet squish
in the mud. And as I trudge, they’ll look
like chocolate fudge.

No work
today. Let my cares melt
away like a snowman in the
sun. Just collect me in a cup –
add the syrup and drink up!
