I call you a country of dignity
You called me a people of nothingness.

Wherewithal thy glory
Which makes you a story?

Could it be that the vows made
To our heroes past were vain?

Singing feign
On an empty fame.

Oh nation
So great:

Let thy glory come
To shunt the story scoffs.
