My life is not ideal
Yet day in and day out
I can assure you it’s real
There’s no one way about it
I have my ups and downs
No matter how it may feel
I have my smiles and my frowns
Even still I don’t start a perfect day
But in its own way
Today’s a perfect day
I wish I could stay
But that would do no good
Ideal or not I’m not dead so
I’ve got to keep pushing forward
Because there’s said to be beauty in the struggle
Reach out towards a uncertain future
Only thing that is certain is it’s too soon to pull the curtain
If time is a test that too shall pass
Life can continue to test just know I test well
Be it a gamble then I’m all in
