Tir gan teanga is
is tir gan ainm,

Which means, a
country without
a language is a
country without
a name.

In Ireland, the
vast majority can
only claim to have
the accent, all our
place names are
Anglicisations of
the original Gaelic.

So, now we speak
phonetically with
colloquial dialects.
