As I ponder the mysteries
Question the answers
Entranced by enormity’s
Drawn-to-scale terms
They take turns
In their petty,
Pathetic
Concerns
As I’m turning each page
To disturb me,
Disrupt
What I just want to seek
Not to share
Nor explain
Nor would I deign to teach
For to do so
Would merely be
Lessons in vanity
Man in his vapid
Evaporations
Condescendingly
Rising in higher-formed
Hubris delusion
To elevations
Far above
What the students
Of even
The most of well-grounded,
Eclectic
Diverse juvenescence
Have ever expected
Of class is in session
From me
Or the host
Of these Holy Ghost preachers
Pretending
We’re of degrees equal
In kinds
Of mind-bending
The will of the people
