I’m thankful for good health
And that of all my friends
I’m thankful to have my friends
The many I have got
I’m thankful for my wife
She means so much to me
Keeps me sane and well fed
Is great fun and with to be
I’m happy to be happy
To live in this great world
To see all that I have seen
These days, with my girl
I’m happy in my daily job
It’s interesting, I’m fulfilled
I’m thankful for the English language
Which stirs my intellect
I get to write verse at will
Sometimes I connect
I’m thankful for the weather
California’s the place to be
