Begin Again Finnigan
He's a man of second chances
Not much at keeping score
Won't hold you to what you're left with
If he can right it by giving more
He holds true to mind your manners
It's a choice in how you live
When asked his name he rightly answers with
Begin Again Finnigan
Mistakes should remain in the past
With every breath a brand new day
Never dwell on what you once had
But what is placed today on your plate
If you've got an ear to hear
His wisdom is cheerfully given
An attitude we all could mirror in
Begin Again Finnigan
Of course, he's had his days of falter
Otherwise, how's a soul to learn
With mistakes being the greatest teacher
When it comes to lessons learned
Sometimes it's hard to take to heart
But that's exactly what he did
Known by those around these parts as
Begin Again Finnigan
