Today is slipping away
Soon to become a distant memory
Tomorrow is just around the corner
And you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be

Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life
What are you going to do with it?
Waste it away?
Watch each minute pass?
As you lead me astray

Tongue and groove
Soft and smooth
Drugs demand
They be abused

Hanging on each word
Don’t want to be disturbed
Go away
I’m still unnerved

Stay off in the distance
Bitter and alone
Speak if It appeases you
As I dream of home sweet home
