The Lady of Light
Looking not, I was for love
Or anything of the such
Accepted of what life became
A fate devoid of human touch
Lukewarm grey the colors around
Before a shot in the night
Led me to my sweet muse
The lovely lady of light
Comfort calm from her eyes
With a glow around the face
The first time they gazed mine
I felt I'd found my place
Only love known by a heart
Wrapped in a soul so pure
Pouring out of the one girl
I wish I could hold near
Explosions felt when we kissed
Like nothing that's been before
No one like you I've ever met
Are you the one I've waited for?
