i remember when we married all those years ago
the day that we first met you gave my heart a glow
when i carved your name in the old oak tree
something i still hold in my memory.

we were both so young and loved each other so
i loved you very dearly more than you will know
we would hold each other very much in love
underneath the moon shining up above

i love you just the same as all those years ago
and the love we have is still there with its glow
like the big oak tree that still bares your name
the love i have for you will always be the same.

till the day i die i wont stopping loving you
with a love thats real and a love thats true
like the vows we made on our wedding day
they were meant to be and will always stay.
