Oh, you raven of the night -
subverting the rules, seeking freedom,
ready to spread those black wings & take flight
with your black hair, sweeping ever so slightly over your black eyes the way your mouth moves ever so gently when you speak eloquent lies
the touch of yours, cold to my bones
the way you lay gently in grass with purple stones
How you feel, the words you speak
which light me up , electrify my soul, and make me weak
right before you break me down again
In his arm it feels like heaven or a hell of sorts,
for once I get a taste it's never enough
drowning in it, drowning in it, drowning in it!
love is like a shore or maybe an abyss
ready to burn and leave a scar, here but never quite there
lost in some world of another
for in his arms it feels like heaven or a hell of sorts
