The Dreamers dream no more
Like they did before
They were brought to our shore
By their parents seeking more
After leaving their homes behind
Hoping that they could find
A little peace of mind
Across the border line

But a man who’s filled with hate
Is determined to change their fate
And at any rate
Has started the debate
As to what should done
With each and everyone
Of them under the sun
Who soon must hide or run

Now it’s up to the Supreme Court
Whether or not, to cut them short
Or otherwise abort
The permission for which they sought
To stay here where they were raised
Although you’d be amazed
Some judges are not fazed
Because their eyes are glazed

And so we’ll have to see
What’s their ultimate destiny
Will they be allowed to remain free
In the place they long to be
Or locked up and deported
As this president has ordered
Once this matter has been sorted
Even though the Dreamers fought it
