Music filled the air,
But the band was silent.

Her heart was soaring,
But her feet were on the floor.

His mind was racing,
But his hands stayed in place.

Head to head.
Face to face.
The two mirrored each other.

Like a puzzle piece falling into place,
He broke the symmetrical pattern
Stealing a kiss
Setting her world on fire.

Even though they stood
In the pouring rain.
