You were my safe haven
in a land of hell,
for when you held me
it crushed my bones
when you sang to me,
It lulled me into
dreams of some
world of another
I was becoming
someone from a world
of another
You were my escape
into a another land,
our love it disappeared
into quick sand
now these memories haunt me
and keep me tossin and turnin
through the erratic nights
as the moon howls to me
in hopes I move on
carry on while
our love is gone
