I forgot the chorus to the song the angels above sang when we met
I forgot you like to listen to it before you fall asleep
And each time I try to perfect my voice, I sound like I can never sing for you
I forgot about the Christmas letter i sent to Santa asking for someone to cherish
Someone to love and someone to hold
Someone to always kiss and call my world
I forgot he brought you the following year when I did need you but I messed up for I never had the perfect words to say to you.
Words that would depict my true feelings of you.
Each time I see you walk on the streets
There's always a magma of words wanting to erupt and reach out to your ears just to remind you how much I love you
But then i always remember the forgetful mind i have . So I let you walk away
