Where does the time go,
That passes by so fast?
In my younger years
I really had a blast
But that was yesterday
Now I’m forced to ask
Where does the time go,
After the dye has been cast?

Where does the time go,
When I wasn’t paying attention?
Now what is there to show,
That’s worthy of being mentioned?
The answers I’m trying to find,
Has me paying full attention
Where does the time go,
Is it beyond my comprehension?

Where does the time go?
A riddle for the ages
And what does each chapter show,
As we turn the pages?
Life can better be seen
In the rear view mirror
Where does the time go,
Does it become any clearer?

Where does the time go?
It tends to keep moving on
And what do the passing years show,
Long after they’ve been gone?
Once they become history
They cannot be changed
Where does the time go,
Once it is estranged?
