By Ibn Herbert

Am I going crazy?
You're driving me insane
See I can't get you baby
Out of my brain
Tell me if I'm veering
Out of my lane
You give me such pleasure
And you also cause me pain

It's a true dichotomy
But you don't even know
What you do to me?
And how far you sometimes go
It's not that hard to see
But baby even so
I should let you be
But I keep eating crow

Even though at times
I think you're insincere
But despite that fact
I have to have you here
Like a magnet attracts
And brings an object near
I stay close to you
Just because I care

What more can I say
That I haven't said
You're just like a poem
That somewhere I read
The lines keep resonating
Deep inside my head
I can't wait to have you
On my water bed
