Sometimes it’s hard to find
the right words that go together.

Often there is no reason
as to why things happen. And clichés

get in the way of healing. People say
them only because they’re not

thinking. There are no explanations
as to why certain things happen. I’d

rather not force my bitterness on
one, to be the bitter berry. I’d rather cut

my tongue.  Or worse yet -
be the bowl of cherries
in a pile of bile
