Living in this thin slice
almost flattened
'tween was an' gonna

How does everything
fit in here now
this infuriatingly
slippery small
picosecond
Holding the universe
while it wonders
where it goes
and is going
while it stays now & here
we imagine
all around it
like frightened chickens
scratching notes to self
peck it anyway
Why can't I feel
today's end
